Marco Alejandro is a published writer of fictional and nonfictional works in his native tongue Spanish, many of the Romance Languages, and also English. He studied Latin American Literature at the University of California, Santa Barbara. He is a writer of short stories, essays, poems and also a writer of Analysis, Inspirational Pieces, Evaluation, Study, Observation, Creative Nonfiction, Satire, and Parody.
His tone is inspired by some of the great Latin American poets, essayist and short story writers like Pablo Neruda, Jorge Luis Borges, Gabriel García Márquez, Rubén Darío, and José Martí. He is very influenced by the surrealism and imaginational approaches of Latin American literature.
Marco Alejandro does also translational work, having done so for institutions, private companies and for the state of California.
